- Travel industry experience is a must
- Experienced in setting and achieving sales budgets with flexibility to forecast, re- forecast and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of the tour operating holiday market and customer service expectations.
- Tracks record in achieving quantitative business targets
- Develops domestic and international packages by visiting destinations and suggesting interesting travel routes or places of interest
- Designs flexible tour packages to meet the needs of different clients
- Explores and identifies new business opportunities in a competitive and rapidly changing industry
- Develops new partner relationships and bringing new products and services into the portfolio
- Negotiates attractive offers, margins, inventory, and other commercial terms.
- Resolving day-to-day problems such as accounting, invoicing, content changes and notification
- Producing regular reports on partner activity, including weekly/monthly sales and margin reports, regular partner satisfaction surveys
- Maintain all supplier databases to ensure information is up to date and accurate.
- Attending Tradeshows, partner briefings, and individual account visits to review information and processes with existing partners, develop promotional ideas, and cultivate new relationships
