Assigned to Fluor PMC contract with KOC in Kuwait, the Lead Electrical Engineer will be allocated to one or more major oil & gas projects. The candidate must have a broad background in Electrical Engineering in the oil and gas industry or power systems and be fully conversant with all the relevant international codes and standards.
The candidate shall have experience in managing engineers and shall possess the interpersonal skills required to interact with the client at a senior level.
Responsible for the review, commitment and approval of contractor developed Electrical documents produced during execution of detailed engineering including Electrical design philosophy, SLDs, Specifications and Data sheets for MV and LV switchgear, transformers, UPS systems and cabling, drawings and layouts including hazardous areas, Cathodic Protection, earthing etc. Visits to contractor’s offices for extended periods are possible.
