The Role:
The Kitchen Manager oversees all aspects of kitchen operations. These include:
- Conducting daily line checks and food reviews- Planning, organising, directing, coordinating, scheduling and delegating responsibility to the staff, ensuring the goals and objectives of the kitchen are met on a daily basis- Maintaining kitchen schedules, staffing templates, staff training and ordering and production targets- Maintaining costs for food, beverage and labor within established budgetary guidelines and ensure unit generates revenue- Planning and developing menus in coordination with the Executive Chef and Senior Manager of Operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
You will have/be:
- Excellent communication and management skills- Ordered and systematic in your work- Good people skills- Excellent customer service ethics- Good time management and planning skills- A Bachelor's degree in hotel management- A minimum of 5 years' experience managing a large kitchen.
