Financial Manager

As Financial Controller your role will be to direct financial activity through planning, procurement and investment for the group.

Responsibilities
• Preparing financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasting, annual budgets, and other reports required by regulatory agencies
• Supervise employees performing financial activity
• Delegate authority for financial activity
• Keep up to date with company policies and procedures, federal and state policies and current accounting standards
• Conduct and coordinate audits of company accounts and financial transactions
• Receive, record and authorize requests for disbursements
• Monitor financial activities and details
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of accounting and financial staff
• Motivate, develop and lead finance teams with the aim of achieving significant business achievements.
• Effective planning to deliver robust, reliable and on-time budgets, both short term and long term, including corporate appraisals.
• Provide necessary strategic inputs for turnover improvement, gross margin optimization and effective cost control.
• Work with Sales and Marketing for successful launch of a new product or entering into new territory.
• Negotiations, with internal and external customers, resulting in maximizing value to the business.
• Improve working capital management, with emphasis on Debtor and Inventory management.
• Responsible for the integrity of financial administration. Review cash/funds flow and provide feedback to management.
