Job Summary:
Manages the daily operation work of the Dept and authorizes all commercial limits and loans in the systems.
Responsibilities:
a) Manages and co-ordinates the activities of assigned personnel. Performs supervisory functions at the Section Level as established by Management.
b) Manages the processing of credit facilities and loans as approved through Risk Authorizations of Commercial Customers in terms of inputting the limits of such facilities in the system.
c) Authorizes the Input of all Commercial limits and Loans in the system and its related fees and charges.
d) Authorizes foreign currency loans (resident) in the system.
e) Authorizes syndicated loans (international / domestic) in the system.
f) Follows up assignment of contract payments and arranges for the reduction of limits as per the decision recorded on R.A.
g) Follows up Syndicate loans with other sharing Banks for re-pricing, interest and principal repayments.
h) Supervises the utilization of loans against import and advance line limits.
i) Verifies the G.L. Balance with the outstanding loan reports.
j) Prints customer advice and extracts loan report from the system.
k) Co-ordinates with Account Managers / Officers regarding customer queries.
l) Replies to Audit queries and observations.
m) Set up Commercial Loan Products and amendment of interest rate in flexcube loan system in co-ordination with the IT Division.
n) Operation of Banks and Country Limit Set-up.
