Senior System Administator

We are a leading Manufacturing, Sales and Distribution company dealing with building materials in Kuwait. We are seeking to recruit highly motivated Senior System Administrator to join our team.

TASKS
• To ensure all operating systems are upgraded, updated with the latest patches and fully licensed.
• To maintain proper documentation of the servers’ set up and configuration and ensure its security, integrity and availability.
• Support Active Directory Forests in Windows 2003/2008
• Collaborate in Administering and Maintaining Enterprise Active Directory and Domain Structure, Managing Trusts, Domains, OU’s, Site Topology, GPO, Users, Groups, Computers and in general any object related to AD; implement GPO’s and replication topology
• Administer and Maintain network support service like DNS, WINS and DHCP
• Administer and Support Exchange 2003, Mailboxes and Messaging Infrastructure
• Administer and Maintain Windows Clustering and Virtualization in Windows 2008.
• Exchange Symantec Enterprise Antivirus Solutions
• Ensure day to day operational monitoring Performance and Threats
• Perform IT checklist tasks to ensure minimum interruptions and failures and maximum business continuity
• Research and present new and emerging technologies that enhance business objectives
• Apply security policies and understand security logs and alerts
• Understand and implement the appropriate Windows server 2003 Server or Windows 2008 Server User Policies
• Define and implement good system Backup & Restore Policies and Procedures
• Configure VLAN, Port Assignment and restrictions
• Ability to implement QoS (Quality of Service) for the WAN network
• Configuring and Load Balance with RIP and EIGRP Routing Protocols
• Basic Knowledge of Linux/ Asterisk
