Merchandiser

Maximizes the sales of the company's goods or services by overseeing the activities to increase the visibility of the products and arranging it well on the shelves.

• Maximizes product availability in line with channel and customer plans;

• Implements merchandising / display and shelf -management guidelines;

• Transfers the unsold goods from a given store to another if the demand is higher at the latter;

• Prompt availability of new products listing on shelf;

• Monitors the stock management of the promotion products by ensuring that the products appear in the right store at the right time and in the right quantities;

• Ensures implementation of promotional displays, from goods stocking to visibility with the use of POS materials when needed;

• Coordinates with marketing to determine type of merchandise to be featured and time and place for each display;

• Reports of own and competitor visibility/ activities at outlet level, with photos when feasible;

• Immediate reporting on any product expiry, goods condition problems or pricing issues;
