The Corporate Logistics Team plan, move and control the flow of goods from point of origin to point of consumption across all divisions, markets and brands within Alshaya. Working closely with brand teams to ensure appropriate stock and delivery to store, the team manages a range of complex and diverse activities including shipping, freight, warehouse operations, customs clearance (in-bound and out-bound), compliance and project management
The Role and Requirements:
As a Senior Analyst for Logistics and Shipping you will focus on controlling and implementing group freight management processes involving detailed cost analysis and modeling, control and management of RFO methodology and the development and maintenance of cost and service reporting.
You will:
- Develop detailed cost baseline summaries for all freight models and trade corridors - ensuring data integrity- Plan and control all RFQ events- Manage contracting and implementing phase of Group Freight Category Management process- Support brand stakeholders and Group Freight strategic sourcing objectives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.- Excellent Microsoft Office proficiency particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.- Knowledge and experience of supply chain visibility systems, volume and cost and group freight networks.- Graduate qualification in logistics is desirable.
