-Responsible to analyze, co-ordinate, document and perform manual and/or computerized accounting operations including maintenance and analysis of Project accounting books.
-Provide assistance in planning and reporting and any other support required by the line manager relative to assigned area of responsibility
-Prepares and presents monthly and quarterly accounting statements.
-Acquire daily updates from accounts officers on using the online banking statements, checks new/existing and follow up transactions, and makes necessary alterations or corrections to the procedures or functions.
-Forecasting monthly cash flow statement and keeping it updated.
-Work with departments across the company in developing effective internal accounting controls and maintain it regularly.
-Responsible for handling various banking transactions
-Prepare reconciliation of Bank statements, Accounts payable and accounts receivable periodically and report if any discrepancies are found
-Prepare and review budgets, revenue, expenses, payroll entities, invoices and other accounting documents and report variances
-Is responsible for accounting of company properties on a monthly basis.
-Responsible for supervision and control of the general accounting area and general accounting functions such as General Ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, budgeting etc.
-Ensure all payments to suppliers, staff and other external parties are made according to company policies and procedures
-Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels and ensure expenditure controls.
-Assist company auditors including preparation of schedules, providing explanations and supporting documents, and any other assistance to perform audit satisfactorily.
-Assist on any other areas under his responsibility. Receive the instruction and disseminate it accordingly along with the other accountants or subordinates.
-Responsible for preparing financial statements on monthly basis with all the required analysis and interpretations.
-Assists with establishing system controls for new financial systems and developing procedures to improve existing systems.
-Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis.
