To assist the Head of IID in managing the international investment proprietary and client portfolio including identification of superior investment opportunities, business development and asset allocation in order to maximize return and constantly beat the set benchmarks.
-Assist in the implementation of tactical asset allocations on a yearly basis in order to enhance returns against the relevant benchmark index
-Assist in the management of selection and portfolio management ensuring right person is identified and due diligence is done.
-Identify new opportunities in various markets to ensure business development as per business plans.
-Provides all necessary inputs to the EVP to facilitate the decision on the placement of money (country, asset class, sector etc.) in collaboration with the Investment committee in order to generate the maximum value for the client and its clients.
-Provide wealth management expertise and professional investment advice using the best services and products available to ensure clients' financial goals are met.
-Advise clients on new products, managed portfolios and structure deals ensuring the interest of client are protected at all times.
-Assist in the preparation of a framework for the launch of all applicable funds/programs to ensure an effective mechanism of fund operations can be established.
- Build a network of contacts in order to strengthen relationships with the clients in the region.
-Rebalance portfolio and evaluate manager performance periodically in a timely manner in order to ensure the achievement of set targets.
-Assist the EVP in developing and circulating macro research reports to the clients in order to position the client as a thought leader on subjects related to investment climate and opportunities.
-Monitor and track relevant fund structure, regulatory changes and fund performance in order to flag areas of concern and support decision making on any corrective actions.
-Conduct research on new innovative products / programs /Funds targeting investments in different asset classes, markets and sectors specific on a global basis as per the strategic plan and board of director’s guidelines in order to support building a pipeline of products that generate more free income.
