OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT :
•Actively interact with all the Contractors, sub-contractors to ensure that all constructions activities which needs to be executed by such contractors and sub-contractors are progressing smoothly and will be in a position to meet the specified deadlines.
•Ensure that approved design specifications are met and there are no deviations from the approved designs in any area of the construction activities.
•Actively coordinate with the PMO and recommend relevant actions on the reports and issues raised by the PMO.
•Provide all necessary inputs and data to enable the Commissioning Manager to plan his activities and ensure that he is in a position to commence commissioning activities as per specified timelines.
•Closely interact with the Plant Manager and the proposed Operations team to take necessary value added inputs to ensure that all potential trouble spots are identified and necessary rectifications made.
•Ensure that specific action plans for system enhancement and resource development are executed within the specified time frames in order to continuously strive for operational excellence.
•Report any violation of health, safety and environmental laws of Kuwait during the course of execution of the construction phase of the project.
•Report all deviations from Quality and Safety Standards as specified by the Client.
•Create and submit a monthly MIS report to the CEO covering the entire activities of the Construction phase.
•Prepare and submit all appropriate documented procedures, designs, SOPs etc. to the Commissioning and Operation teams.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
•Responsible for providing all financial inputs and data to complete the process of compiling the Financial Budgets, budget plans and the budgeting process for the construction phase within specified time frames
•Ensure that controls and reporting systems, as directed by the CEO are executed to ensure that project and other operating expenses are within the budgeted numbers.
CUSTOMER FOCUS
•The Position holder is expected to provide regular updates to the CEO on specific issues raised by Client and also provide necessary reports on how the issues have been addressed by coordinating and interacting with all the parties involved in the Construction phase of the project.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
•Motivate and maintain high performance among not only the company staff but also workers employed by contractors and sub-contractors to improve all round productivity.
•Ensure Performance Objectives are set and Reviews conducted at specified intervals for specified levels within the project.
ORGANIZATION MANAGEMENT
•Provide necessary inputs and actively participate in the process of preparation and maintenance of organization structure for the project with appropriate staffing levels, operating systems and effective processes.
•Conduct regular cross functional meetings and ensure that action points arising out of those meetings are executed.
