-To conduct, source, and supervise the investment activities within the MENA region and monitor regional real estate portfolios to achieve target risk adjusted returns in line with investment guidelines and risk appetite.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
-Create and structure investment products as well as engage in the liaison with private banking/selling agents in order to market the investment to acquire investors.
- Conduct market research and maintain data for investment purposes and in order to keep the team abreast of latest MENA market developments and trends.
-Prepare a robust list of service providers for market studies as well as assist in preparing and floating the RFP in order to ensure that the work is assigned to the right consultants and carried out in an efficient manner.
-Network with brokers and real estate investors for market intelligence and potential acquisitions/disposals of investments.
-Source real estate investment opportunities and screen investments for compliance with the investment strategy of the company/Client, as well as alignment with investments guidelines and prepare investment opportunity report; in form of evaluations and memorandums.
-Source potential buyers and conduct analysis to justify disposal of property along with potential replacements, depending on disposal reasoning.
-Analyze shortlisted investment opportunities and coordinate with third party service providers to submit relevant reports.
-Conduct investment opportunity valuation, analysis, cash flow modeling (depending on the type of investment opportunity), and create a business plan with targeted returns.
-Compile findings into detailed report and seek relevant approvals.
-For developments, prepare detailed/brief reports to be forwarded to the project management team for project execution according to the set concept, specifications, standards, and timelines.
-Execute activities related to selected investment opportunities and track properties from an operational, financial, technical, and legal point of view.
-Monitor the performance of overall real estate portfolio, compare the performance with targets and take corrective action ., increase/ decrease rent prices, hold/ sell capital assets, follow-up on payments.
- Prepare brief and detailed reports to department, management, committee(s), and clients.
-Manage team by maintaining current schedules and plans
