Software Analyst

1) Collecting and analyzing user requirements, writing functional and design specifications, and developing documents, and testing analytical reporting solutions.
2) Assisting in developing project plans and in training and mentoring junior team members.
3) Developing and delivering end-user training.
4) Writing test plans and executing operational qualification tests in order to meet system validation requirements
5) Supporting data warehouse production processes by monitoring job queues, debugging problems, and developing fixes and tuning strategies.
6) Assisting in network architecture and solutions.
7) Developing standards and procedures for the data mart/reporting environments.
8) From time-to-time evaluating and recommending new reporting tools and managing upgrades or enhancement projects.
