JOB PURPOSE:
Assure the coordination between HVAC/Plumbing and all services for professional site works execution.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Essential functions and responsibilities on all the sites installation works which include the following :
1. Coordination Executions:
- Follow up with draftsmen on preparation of shop drawings.
- Conduct workshops prior to prepare mechanical composite shop drawings.
- Decide locations / areas of sections, elevations required for easy understandings.
- Involved in redesigning most of mechanical services as needed for coordination purpose.
- Preparations of detailed enlarged shop drawings.
- Keep records for As-built & changes to approved shop drawings.
- Prepare & update shop drawings log.
- Involved in preparation of builders work shop drawings.
- Prepare VOs calculations, pricing and final adjustments before official submission if reqired.
- Prepare material submittal related to the special supports units (kitchen equipments, laundry equipments & natural gas equipments and system).
2. Coordination meeting and follow up:
- Attend coordination workshops with main coordinators, civil, Arch., Elect. Engineers to solve problems / obstacles.
- Coordination with the office technical team for the site installation works and requirements
- Request for SHBC coordination meeting when ever is necessary.
- Attend Engineering overview meeting with consultant / client.
- Close follow up and coordination with the site manager and engineers to assure the correct site works erection and execution of equipments and materials.
- Attend the necessary meetings with the suppliers if necessary for the coordination on the Installation of special equipments.
- All above points are applicable on SHBC mechanical and Sub contractors
GENERAL :
- Provide reports on the coordination status to other department whenever is necessary.
- Provide reports on the wrong and mis-coordination with other services and request for site rectification of works.
