Job Purpose
The primary responsibility here is to develop and produce the Group’s enterprise risk reporting across risk types businesses and geographies. The person is responsible for liaising with the various risk teams and geographies and for standardizing reporting templates and processes to produce Group-wide risk reporting
The person is also accountable for developing and maintaining reporting which falls outside the reporting remits of individual risk functions such as Basel / ICAAP related requirements, stress testing, rating agency, and others as required.
Risk Systems & Data:
The primary responsibility is to ensure Risk functions across the group are able to provide and report Risk information by ensuring the proper Risk systems and interfaces are in place. In addition, the person is responsible to develop and maintain a Risk database and ensure data quality and cleanliness of the data across the Group. This data warehouse will cover requirements for credit, market, and operational risks at a minimum.
In addition, the role holder will be responsible for creating a front-end reporting system and other reporting automation tools where feasible across Group entities.
Role holder is also expected to be actively involved in providing Risk support for ICT projects.
Job Description
1. Develop Group Risk reporting standard and templates for all reporting units.
2. Roll out of data gathering processes and reporting standards across subsidiaries
3. Produce monthly Group Risk MIS reporting pack for senior management
4. Support reporting requirements for external parties (., rating agency, central bank, consultancies), where multiple risk areas are involved
5. Consolidation of ICAAP reporting across group
6. Custodian of enterprise risk data, including capital, stress testing, ICAAP results
of policies and procedures owned by Enterprise Risk Management.
8. Work with vendors, ICT and business in head office and subsidiaries to effectively implement ERM systems including Operational Risk, Credit Risk and other risk related systems.
9. Develop/implement and maintain comprehensive risk database covering all on- and off-balance sheet transactions on a bank-wide basis as well as non-financial risk data (., operational risk)
10. Develop/implement front-end solutions to automate risk MIS reporting processes, which cover Credit Risk, Market Risk, Ops Risk, Liquidity Risk and Capital management
11. Work with ICT in implementing system interfaces between Core Banking System and Risk systems.
12. Assist Risk staff across Group in implementation of new system modules / software.
13. Provide analytical and computing support for any projects / initiatives to market, credit or operational risk
14. Performs other duties in line with scope of work and as instructed by the direct manager.
