POSITION SUMMARY
The Logistic Officer is responsible for the preparation and overall logistic routine. S/He will assist the divisional operational logistic administrative requirement.
Essential Functions:
1. Preparation of procedures necessary to provide support in the logistics areas of supply, transportation, maintenance, and services.
2. Arrangement of procurement, storage, accounting and maintenance of equipment and materials to support the operations.
3. Assist in coordinating and interface between logistics function such as transportation, maintenance and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost effective support to the customer.
4. Preparation of delivery documentation, such as dock receipts, Inland bill of ladings and trailer manifests.
5. Preparation of Correction Requests, such as resolving duplication records and researching and verifying item status on job site.
6. Data Entry of daily receipts into computer; preparing packing lists, and reports as needed by Senior Manager of MSD.
7. Prepares supply requirements and conducts detailed inventories on on-hand supplies and materials.
8. Help the Field Service Technicians with shipping and receiving parts.
