GUST is seeking highly qualified candidates for the following vacant positions in the field of Admission, Registration & Student Recruitment.

2) Graduation Officer

4) Senior Scholarships Officer


 Admission Officer:
• Disseminates information to prospective students about GUST admission requirements and registration on time.
• Evaluates accepted students against merit scholarship eligibility and makes recommendations to the Dean - and Registration.
• Responsible for identifying the correct Admissions categories for all applicants, ensuring that all students satisfy the University’s Admissions criteria as well as the requirements specified by the Private Universities Council (PUC), and Ministry of Higher Education.
• Processes and reviews applications for University acceptance.
• Prepares the submission of applications process with appropriate information about procedures, deadlines, and eligibility requirements.
• Develops relationships with prospective students and their parents as well as high school counselors and officials; Coordinates secondary school recruitment and visitation

 Graduation Officer:
• Answers all questions related to registration, admission and graduation.
• Assists in updating graduating students with information related to their graduation, files and others.
• Helps in checking the accuracy of all files, information and documents of graduating students.
• Helps in the advising process of senior students on courses they need to enroll in in order to graduate.
• Prepares files and information needed by the Private Universities Council in regard to graduating students.

 Student Recruitment Officer:
• Coordinate needs for GUST publications (brochures, posters, etc.), ensuring consistency & uniformity in all GUST publications.
• Develop GUST marketing tools and "products" with targeted audience in mind. For example, develop marketing campaigns for local high schools; promote GUST courses and programs, etc.
• Coordinate with advertising agencies for the production of publications and ensure efficiency and adherence to budgets for all marketing events. Develop and maintain a stock of promotional material (brochures, posters, banners)
• Strive to achieve and maintain accreditation within department Responsible for University graphics & style guide (standards for logo & image)
• Make recommendations for continuously improving the image of GUST on the website
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and techniques in the field of Marketing.
• Report periodically on status and progress of plans, activities, challenges and accomplishments produce market research reports.

 Senior Scholarships Officer:
• Working closely with the VPAS, this position will be responsible for managing the affairs of the scholarship students and to establish and maintain effective communication with the PUC.
• Responds to all correspondences and communications from the Private Universities Council
(PUC) and other sponsors regarding the status of students who are on scholarships.
• Working with the Finance Department, the University Registrar and the Student Success
Center to prepare the reports.
• Receives and processes all scholarship students’ requests pertaining to Discontinuation, Semester Withdrawal, Change of Major or University Withdrawal.
• Performs other assignments and duties as requested by the Vice President for Academic
Services.
