• Have good understanding of SNMP v1 and V2.
• Ability to maintain Multi-tier OMNIbus architecture.
• Ability to modify OMNIbus rules and write new ones.
• Have good understanding on OMNIbus database.
• Ability to write triggers and procedures for OMNIbus database.
• Have good understanding of uni-directional/bi-directional gateways.
• Ability to integrate OMNIbus to third party software(SRMs, other monitoring systems, databases) using gateways/probes.
• Have knowledge of MIB to rules conversion.
• Ability to write shell scripts for carrying out tasks on OS based on OMNIbus events.
• Ability to work with Linux logging server.
