IT Auditor - Career Hunters

Main purpose of Job

Conducts the Bank’s Information Technology audits to determine effectiveness and accuracy of IT controls (Applications, database, operation systems, data, infrastructure, processes etc.) and ensure compliance with the IT procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Reviews the Bank departments IT practices, operational functions, and records to ensure compliance with established IT internal policies and procedures.

2. Documents IT audit work performed along with finding and associated recommendations. Escalates any unusual finding to determine and remedy risk factors.

3. Interacts and follows-up with concerned departments to establish action plans expected from the IT audit finding to ensure the timely execution in an efficient manner.

4. Directs, guides and trains junior auditors to fulfill their responsibilities according to expected standards.

5. Creates automated audit tools for various types of IT systems to ensure consistent, effective, relevant and compliant audit program.

6. Follows-up, on a regular-basis, the course of actions generated from the IT audit reports and ensures its execution in an efficient manner and on a proper time to minimize risks to an acceptable level.

7. Conducts special investigations as requested by the Head IT Auditor to make sure that the possible security incidents are reviewed on a regular-basis.

8. Generates and escalates periodic and requested reports ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

9. Participates in the various cross-fictional committees / teams for multiple purpose to achieve optimal cooperation and to assume seamless quality service.

10. Maintains updated knowledge of rules, regulations and standards in the field and related matters of interest to the department.

11. Performs other duties in line with scope of work and as assigned by the direct manager
