Purpose of the position
• Implementation and Compliance of Lamnalco SHE-Q Policies & Procedures.
• Compliance with legal obligations.
• Compliance of Kuwait Oil Company (K.S.C) Policies & Procedures.
• Reporting of monthly SHE-Q Statistics to Lamnalco & Kuwait Oil Company (K.S.C).
• Proactive monitoring - SHE-Q Audits and follow-up.
• All personnel have sufficient training on SHE-Q.
• Accident and Incident prevention, reporting & follow-up.
• Implementation of HIRA’s.
• Implement, monitor and maintain Emergency response.
• Implement, monitor and maintain Waste Management.
Implement and review of SHE-Q procedures and plans, site specific.
• Report all incidents and accidents to contracts manager, Lamnalco.
• Receive and investigate reports of accidents, dangerous occurrences and property damage,
determine their causes and make recommendations for improving recurrence prevention and
controls.
• Monitor that all accidents are investigated and that lessons learnt are shared.
• To maintain a system for recording, reporting and investigating injuries, accidents and dangerous
occurrences.
• Provide statistical reports (summaries) to the contacts manager, the client.
• Identify the training needs of all personnel as per the training matrix.
• Monitor personnel training and report on training targets to safety committee.
• Ensure that all personnel have had site induction.
• Ensure that HIRA’s are completed for all activities with significant risks.
• Develop a range of communication medium e.g. Safety Notice board to ensure that all personnel
are kept up to date with SHE-Q matters.
