Job Overview:
Highly skilled, engaging and energetic, the Director will run all aspects of the company. He/she will be responsible for hiring/training/managing tutors, communicating with students and their families, selling tutoring packages, marketing, billing, payroll, etc.
The Director will have a background in education and a deep commitment to delivering successful results and exceptional customer service to each parent and child. He or she will also be responsible for marketing our company and developing relationships with education/school professionals in the area.
The ideal Director will enjoy working independently, interacting with clients and tutors mostly via the phone and internet. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and largely self-directed as well as passionate about education and working with children of all ages.
Director candidates need to have performed a similar role before and have managed a tutoring center or tutoring region. The Director will need to work hard and thrive on the independence given.
RESPONSIBILITIES(include but are not limited to)
- Educate and advise parents on all issues related to tutoring, academics, and school
- Carefully match new students with the right tutors
- Read tutor lesson notes daily and provide enthusiastic follow-up service to our students and families, typically via phone and email, ensuring the quality of the student/tutor match
- Provide support to tutors, helping them with tutoring strategies
- Contribute to growth of business by proactively delivering amazing service to our clients, building new relationships with parents, educational professionals, and schools, and strengthening existing relationships
- Help with various long-term projects, such as marketing, writing curriculum, research, and website content development -- flexibility a must!
