Business Manager
Role Profile:
Set and achieve the Annual Business Plan through development of the brand offer and the delivery of that offer in all locations. Accountable for P&L for the business Unit. Responsible for the strategic and operational development of the Business and for maintaining an excellent partnership with host brand.
Responsibilities include;
• Build and develop the team, ensuring that the brand is correctly supported now and for the future.
• Develop medium to long-term Business strategy and Annual Business Plan for the brand, liaising closely with host brand(s).
• Ensure responsibility for the delivery of weekly / monthly sales targets is devolved and are achieved through appropriate sales processes and full compliance with company procedures.
• Manage product and pricing, taking market prices and margin target into consideration.
• Oversee and agree an optimum stock inventory control management system
• Manage the brand location strategy including responsibility for decisions regarding optimum locations / size for shops, and shop fit according to location to maximise selling space.
• Manage the brand promotional strategy by ensuring communication of the offer is optimised and cost effective.
• Oversee and agree the brand operations strategy, monitor and review this continuously and share best practices.
Knowledge:
Pertinent degree desirable as is strong retail knowledge
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years solid operational background in retail, preferably fashion and / or footwear.
