- Reporting to Project Manager
- Initiate/Plan/Direct/Oversee engineering and procurement duties related to MEP works
- Manage all relevant procurement documents for submission/approval (Request for quotation, technical verification/comparison, compliance..etc)
- Lead a team of engineers and draftsmen; direct and evaluate their work; and oversee the development of staff competence
- Prepare reports (forecast, status, look-ahead, progress…etc) to Project Manager/Management
- Plan, direct, and coordinate survey work with other staff activities
- Coordinate/communicate with other inter-disciplines
- Effectively Coordinate/communicate with client to resolve any conflicts and ensure timely submittals
- Must get involved in detailed design calculations, preparation of engineering data sheets & specifications, shop fabrication drawings and trouble shooting of design problems resulting from shop and field capabilities
- To manage resource optimization, Minimize rework norms, reduction in shop queries & in turn reduction in loss of direct man-hours.
- Time bound engineering deliverables to clients, accuracy in material requirement estimates to procurement
- Able to read, understand and implement various requirements of client’s specifications and code requirements
- Familiar with International Standards for design, engineering, construction and operations of Multidiscipline projects
