The Role:
Working in the pastry preparation kitchen with the Dean & Deluca restaurant you will utlise your technical skills to make creative, appealing and high quality cake decorations. You make your creations using gum paste, royal icing, marzipan, fondant, chocolate and spun sugar.
Skills and Qualification:
The ideal candidate will have gained their experience in a 5 star hotel or have considerable experience in a professional kitchen. You must be a highly creative individual who can work in a high stress environment taking direction from Sous Chefs or the Head Chef.
You must have:
- Experience leading a team of 3+ Chefs- Good English language skills (both written and verbal)- A focus on providing high quality customer service- The ability to provide on-the-job training to junior members of kitchen staff.
