JOB PURPOSE / ROLE:
To review and update the existing policies, processes, procedures, workflows, and SLAs in coordination with the process owners in order to rectify operational issues and contribute to the achievement of business excellence standards within the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Process Re-Engineering
- Review issues identified by Service Quality in coordination with business lines and process owners to modify/improve certain processes and initiate the necessary action for documenting and updating the revised processes
- Under the supervision of the Business Process Re-Engineering in Charge, develop the Business Process Re-Engineering corrective actions in coordination with the process owners and Service Quality to optimize the internal operational efficiency and quality within the company.
- Identify risks and issues that are relevant to the current design of the policies, procedures, and processes, and workflows in order to develop the appropriate corrective actions that would address the defined operational irregularities and optimize efficiency and compliance levels within the company.
- Provide Business Process Re-Engineering support to the business lines and support functions in developing/ updating policies, process, procedures and Service Level Agreements in line with bank-wide standards in order to rectify any issue identified by Service Quality.
- Develop integrated process maps that would align various processes in order to identify any over laps and avoid such occurrences in the future.
- Maintain regular coordination and follow up with the different BUs/ departments and process owners to ensure that the corrective actions are implemented in a timely and effective manner.
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of Business Process Re-Engineering tools and practices taking into account ‘international leading practice’ and productivity improvements.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Follow all relevant Business Process Re-Engineering policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
