Serving guests at the front desk while providing the highest level of service possible in an efficient, courteous and professional manner by following Marriott standards of aggressive hospitality and adhering to guidelines and procedures.
Responsibilities
* Register guests and assign rooms, accommodating special requests whenever possible
* Check guests out efficiently
* Address every guest’s request to the concerned departments and AYS
* Assist in pre-registration and blocking of reservation when necessary
* Comply with unit cash handling, credit and check cashing policies and procedures.
* Complete daily checklist tasks
* Assist Supervisor in conducting day to day shift or oversee department operation (e.g shift briefings, ensure shift coverage)
* Assist Supervisor in ensuring check outs have been pulled and verified periodically.
* Assist Supervisor to enforce compliance with SOP/LSOP eg. Safety, OSHA, department specific procedures.
* Assist Supervisor in addressing guest’s concerns, requests or issues either individually or by help of managers and colleagues.
* Comply with room selling strategies, cancellation procedures and walk procedures.
* Each associate is expected to carry out, within their capability, all reasonable requests by Management.
