1.Carry out the P.P.M. for hospital equipment mainly as the department nominated to him.
2.Solving machine failures, faults or malfunctions based on experience, skill, application of the test measurements and reference to technical literature & schematics.
3.Review the technical information needed for operating the equipment and upgrading them.
4.Prepare requisitions for spare parts needed from stores / manufacturers to fix the equipment under his maintenance area.
5.Check and evaluate the spare parts needed to fix the equipment under service contract.
6.Check and evaluate the performance of each equipment repaired by other side contractor.
7.Prepare the annual PPM plan for his departments as required by hospital polices and procedures & the manufacturer recommendations.
8.Prepare reports about old equipment that need to be replaced, upgraded or scrapped.
9.Studying different quotations from different manufacturers for new equipment purchasing and suggests the best quality with appropriate price.
10.Check and inspect new medical equipment installed in the hospital and make sure of their specification according with approved quotation.
11.Keep the maintenance tools in good order including measurement and analyzes tools, to be updated and calibrated.
