Apply a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure. Full responsibility of the general ledger month-end close and presentation of the balance sheet, income statement results and reconciliation for month-end closing to close books in a timely manner
Facilitate an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close
Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information
Initiate budget and forecasting activities with the support of Reporting Officer
Interface with other departments to verify transaction report data and issues
Respond to inquiries from the reporting officer regarding financial results, special reporting requests etc.
Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department
Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
Management of the Fixed Asset process, policy, and procedure
Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
Process the payroll for the staffs
Maintain and timely deposit of cash income and petty cash management etc.
Routine inventory control and check
Initiate other daily activities of department
Other duties / special projects as assigned
