Product Development Manager
The Product Development Manager leads and delivers fully functional retail omni-channel store solutions out of the offshore product development centre. You will work closely with the Kuwait product development streams to plan, execute and deliver the products.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 9 years' solid software development experience including managing multiple product development streams.- Extensive experience in Java/J2EE/Swing programming and web application development using GWT/GXT, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.- Extensive experience in data modeling, design and architecture of software solutions.- Extensive experience in agile development and preferably Scrum Master certified.- Extensive Linux/Unix development experience- Experience in configuring and working with JBOSS application servers.- Experience in developing application frameworks and integrating with open source solutions.- Knowledge of NoSQL databases and mobile development will be an advantage.
Product Development Lead
Reporting to the Product Development Manager is a product development technical and supervisory role responsible for the architecture, design and construction of the software product. The responsibilities include:
- Design and implement technical architecture for the software products including preparation of technical documentation.- Investigate, analyze and make recommendations to management regarding technology improvements, upgrades and modification- Leading a team of software engineers to construct the solution.- Recommend, implement and enforce coding standards and procedures.- Conduct code reviews and debugging of complex programs.- Optimize solution for performance and accuracy.- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the team.
You will be working very closely with the offshore Product Development streams, to ensure that product design meets overall solution architecture implemented across the company. 6-9 years of solid software development experience including leading multiple product development teams is essential.
Skills & Experience
Technical Skills -ORACLE
- Essential : Extensive experience in Oracle 11g database programming using SQL, PLSQL.- Essential : Experience is designing and developing Data warehouse and Data Marts solutions.- Extensive experience in Software Design and Architecture.- Extensive experience in database design, data modeling, DDL and DML for backend development on Oracle and MySQL databases.- Extensive experience in Data Partitioning, query optimization and tuning for performance and server resource utilization.- Experience in reporting solutions like Business Objects and Microsoft Excel Power Pivots will be an advantage.- Experience in Code version control systems and continuous integration systems.- Knowledge of NoSQL databases and mobile development will be an advantage
Senior Software Engineer (GOLD/Java/Oracle)
