IT/ NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR - pad10 wll

Job Objectives:
1) Design, Planning, Implementation and management of Networks & Systems. (LAN).
2) Administer Corporate Network, Servers, Firewalls and other network devices.
3) Manage and maintain Exchange 2010, Windows 2008 Domain Controllers and SharePoint 2010.
3) Investigate, recommend and install enhancements and Operating procedures that optimize network availability.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Active Directory user accounts creation and access to employees to the corporate network.
2) Routine checking of edge Servers, Firewalls, UTMS, Routers and other network devices.
3) Maintain exchange servers and check for problems related to in bound & out bound emails.
4) Maintain SAN/NAS storages.
5) Plan and implement network security, including building firewalls, applying backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users.
6) Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and other operational difficulties.
7) Anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures.
8) Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.
9) Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
10) Maintain licenses for Firewalls, SMTP devices and other network software. Renew domain names of the company from time to time.
11) Ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and effects on system availability.
12) Evaluate and/or recommend purchases of computers, network hardware, Peripheral equipment and software.
13) Provide computer orientation to new company staff.
14) Document network problems and resolutions for future reference.
15) Maintain updating of server OS (Microsoft & Apple), Client OS (Microsoft & Apple), Antivirus Server, Firewalls (Juniper & Symantec Bright Mail).
16). Ensure proper backup of servers, storage (SAN/NAS) and assuring of proper retrieval of files at any point of time.
Relationships and Roles
1) Responsible for administrating the entire network.
2) Responsible for user account creation, management of mail boxes, etc... in the corporate network.
3) Submitting quotations to various IT suppliers & ISP for required items/services.
4) Testing and reporting various new IT technologies and reporting to the Management that are required for the company.
Job Specifications and Requirements:
1) Ability to learn new technologies related in IT to enhance the network & systems.
2) Ability to anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures.
3) Attending various training courses and seminars related to IT.
4) Updating on the existing knowledge and learning the new ones.
Knowledge Requirements
1) Extensive knowledge in design and implementation of Active Directory and Group Policy management.
2) Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Exchange server, preferably in 2010.
2) Well versed with CISCO Routers & Switches.
3) Well versed with virtualization technologies and its backup procedures.
4) Good knowledge in Microsoft SharePoint.
5) Good knowledge in Apple OS and products.
5) Extensive knowledge in network securities & VPN.
6) Good knowledge in Microsoft SQL server configuration and backup procedures.
7) Good knowledge in Juniper & Symantec Bright Mail.

Candidate Qualification: Recognized University degree in Computer Science/Applications.
Certification in Microsoft, CISCO, Network Security etc….
At least 3-5 years hands on experience.
