Job Sumary
Perform activities related to student admission, records maintenance, and verification of student records
Responsibilities
1. Disseminates information to prospective students, admission requirements and registration on time
2. Evaluates accepted students against merit scholarship eligibility and makes recommendations to the Dean - and Registration
3. Responsible for identifying the correct Admissions categories for all applicants, ensuring that all students satisfy the University’s Admissions criteria as well as the requirements specified by the Private Universities Council (PUC), and Ministry of Higher Education
4. Processes and reviews applications for University acceptance
5. Prepares the submission of applications process with appropriate information about procedures, deadlines, and eligibility requirements
6. Manages prospective student data collection and entry into any related recruitment technologies.
7. Develops relationships with prospective students and their parents as well as high school counselors and officials; Coordinates secondary school recruitment and visitation
8. Helps in the development of marketing campaigns to attract prospective students
9. Conducts counseling sessions and orientation for prospective students on and off campus
10. Processes and reviews applications for University acceptance
11. Organizes and evaluate submitted applications in line with policy on criteria for eligibility
12. Develops & implements orientation programs for Freshman students, providing academic & social pre-advisement & course advisement
