STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT :
•Ensure that all strategic and operational initiatives of the Civil Infrastructure division are aligned to the achievement of the corporate vision & overall corporate goals.
•As a member of the Strategic Planning Committee actively contribute to the formulation of corporate business strategies and also to help in the process of tracking the progress of business plans on a regular basis.
OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT :
•Accountable for ensuring that project delivery is on time & within the budget estimates, plans of the division are executed within the specified project timelines and cost estimates. Also, identify and proactively communicate any issues.
•Conduct project progress meetings and monthly project review meetings
•Ensure, through the Divisional Manager & Project Managers that action plans for system enhancement and resource development are executed within specified time frames in order to continuously strive for operational excellence.
•Maintain a control, through the Divisional Manager, adherence to all statutory compliances, Laws and Safety standards as specified by relevant laws of Kuwait.
•Through active coordination and communication with the Quality and Safety Manager, ensure that specified Quality and Safety Standards and processes are consistently followed across the Civil Infrastructure Division.
•Accountable for ensuring that the division conforms to processes specified as per ISO standards applicable to the division.
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
•Oversee and ensure that the Financial Budgets, budget plans and the budgeting process for the Infrastructure division is completed within specified time frames and meets the organizational requirements and financial objectives.
•The Position holder is responsible for ensuring collection of all payments and outstanding dues from the customers of the Infrastructure Division.
•Ensure through the Divisional Manager that adequate controls and reporting systems are put in place to ensure that project and other divisional operating expenses are within the budgeted numbers.
CUSTOMER FOCUS, NETWORKING & RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
•Develop strategy and oversee implementation plans to ensure all operations meet the needs of internal and external customers
•Build and consolidate networking relationships within and across industries & statutory bodies. Represent the Company effectively in relevant national boards and forums
•Ensure regular updates between Project Operations, internal departments, external customers to keep up on the customers' needs and any business development activity that is initiated
•Meet People, Clients’ organizations on a regular basis and enhance relationships & resolve issues .
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
•In liaison with HR, to help drive various employees' satisfaction initiatives to motivate and maintain high performance among the staff.
•Through the Divisional Manager drive the Performance Management process to ensure that every employee is aligned to and contributes effectively to achievement of organizational goals.
ORGANIZATION MANAGEMENT
•Ensure the organization structure for the Infrastructure Division are maintained with appropriate staffing levels.
•Promote inter-divisional communications & co-ordinations through periodic structured meetings and monitoring the outcomes and action points of such meetings on an ongoing basis to ensure smooth operations and alignment of needs between various functions within the division and also support functions across the Company.
