Reporting to : Head of Electrical Engineering Department / Deputy Head of Department
Job Purpose : To draft electrical and low voltages systems designs.
Responsibilities :
Construction Drawings
- Exercises good quality control to ensure that:
o Drawings comply with the CAD Manual
o Drawings are clear ( properly dimension, all notes included, legends, north points, all information reflected).
o Drawings are coordinated, interrelate with each other, X-referenced, correctly layered and are relatively error-free.
- Meets agreed deadlines and task benchmarks set by Department.
Filing of Drawings
- Stores work-in-progress and completed drawings in correct folders per Company policy.
Teamwork, Cooperation and Communication
- Understands given instructions and implement them. Clarifies instructions when not clear. Facilitates constructive discussion on contentious issues
- Willingly works extra time to meet given deadlines
- Advise HOD on availability for additional work
- Willingly helps other project teams when own workload permits with approval from the Project Architect and the HOD.
- Guides new joiners on SSH standards, CAD Manuals, filling, etc
- Provides guidance and support to colleagues and imparts knowledge to improve abilities of colleagues.
Experience : Minimum of 5 years experiences in relevant design work with extensive AutoCAD knowledge.
