Main purpose of Job

Reporting to the Supervisor, DLA project, the main responsibility of the role is to promote Gas supply services by sales and marketing to local clients in Kuwait, thereby achieve or exceed the set sales targets. Job Holder will ensure that all sales activities are in line with the agreed terms and in conformity of the company's ethics compliance. He will be required to handle responsibilities of DLA Gas supervisor in his absence and ensure that delivery of cylinders is as per contract terms.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development. Source new clients; maintain excellent business relationships with current pool of clients; develop strategic moves in expanding the current business profiles using traditional and creative methods; establish marketing/sales campaigns in order to identify new leads; cultivate and nurture prospects in order to drive business growth to meet and exceed budgeted targets.

Liaison: Communicate, liaise, and negotiate with clients using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships. Job Holder will also liaise with customer service and clients for completion of jobs.

Revenue Generation: To generate revenue through maximizing sales, with a view to meet and exceed set sales budgets .Job holder will manage products, pricing and margins according to agreed aims.

Compliance to Ethics policy: Job holder will ensure that all sales activities are within the guidelines of the company's Corporate Compliance and Ethics policy. He will also be required to ensure that DLA operations are run as per relevant DLA contract terms, internal policies and procedures

Market Awareness: Maintain awareness of the progress of the industry across the region by communicating with Commercial and Sales team locally and regionally for the purpose that the company continues to apply the most operational policies and procedures. This includes monitor the competitors activity and ensure that apt responses are done for the purpose of developing counteractions of any perceived threats to business. Market awareness also implies analyzing trends in business environment, help to develop products/services that are responsive to the market demands and identify new market opportunities.

Debt Control: Monitoring debt collections with the purpose of maintaining low average of debtors and credit periods within company's guidelines and to check the increase of sale revenues and eventual increase of credit allowance to good customers and plan a strategic action relative to bad debts to minimized and alleviate risk of loss.

DLA Warehouse operations - Handle warehouse operations independently as leave cover for the project supervisor and ensure delivery of cylinders are as per the agreed contract terms.
