This position is accountable for providing technical support for Field Engineering team related to engineering products. This support function includes, but not limited to, AutoCad design, bill of materials, estimation, submittals for installation systems applications as well as Anchoring and Firestop solutions. AutoCad proficiency and full technical knowledge of all products and associated applications relating to the products is a minimum standard.
• Designs drawings on "AutoCad" for installation systems and other engineered products such as Anchoring and Firestop systems.
• Load design calculations and formulation of product solutions based on customer requirements.
• Preparation of bill of materials for designed solutions and preparation of submittal documents to support the proposed solution.
• Maintenance of engineering library with uptodate manuals, publications and electronic documents in coordination with the Marketing department or HAG.
Provide telephone technical support for customers requiring immediate attention.
• Prepare, present and train the technical aspects of new products to Sales Team when required.
