Has min. of 5 years experience in operating Flexographic printing machines used to print plastic films with min. of 6 colors.
Capable of preparing the job for printing including:
- Checking the conditions of the cliches
- Checking the condition of the printing rollers (rubber rollers, anilox rollers & printing cylinders)
- Mounting the cliches and is aware of the quality of double adhesive tape required.
- Capable of preparing ink mixes as per the pantone book directions.
Monitoring the ink viscosity through out the printing process.
Ensure that the printing dryers are satisfactorily performing throughout the whole run.
Ensure that the corona unit adjustment is appropriate to treat the type of plastic film to be printed.
Has knowledge of the type of thinners used and compatible with the ink.
Has relatively good command in English.
