Commercial Manager - KCPC

Commercial Management:
1. In conjunction with Department heads implement, manage and maintain compliance with agreed Company procedures across all regions.
2. In conjunction with Estimating and Department heads establish new project budget and incorporate in SAP WBS coding system.
3. Manage and ensure compliance of monthly Project Cost Reports over all regions.
4. Mange and ensure compliance of Project Administration Manual (PAM) procedures over all regions. Propose improvements and implement agreed revisions. Review required training etc.,
5. In conjunction with Estimating and Planning Managers propose any changes that would be of commercial, procedural or project management benefit.
6. Review all tender documents for commercial / contractual risks / opportunities, advise MD / Estimation Manager, participate in risk management within tenders, review Tender Order Letter.
7. Review planning / programming and advise MD on improvements for better servicing regions etc.,
8. Review procurement documentations, sub-contracts etc., and advise MD on improvement.
9. Attend all Management Meetings.

Existing Projects:
1. In conjunction with PM and Project Quantity Surveyors review commercial position (time and money), project Cost Reports, claims etc., and make recommendations to MD.
2. Assist project PM’s & Project QS with contractual, commercial and strategy advice, correspondence etc.,
3. Review staffing and recruit any required staff.
4. Review project admin / commercial procedures and propose improvements etc.,
5. Chair monthly Project Cost Report Meeting

New Projects:
1. Compile Contract Agreements on basis of tender and post-tender negotiations for approval by MD. Participate in final negotiations with Client and his professional team.
2. Recruit all Commercial staff for project.
3. Set up procedures, report etc., and train staff into KCPC operation.
4. Assist project PM’s & Project QS with contractual, commercial and strategy advice, correspondence etc.,
5. Chair monthly Project Cost Report Meetings.
Business Development:
1. Advise and assist the MD and Business Development Manager (BDM) to strategies the Company’s expansion within existing and into new regions;
2. Assist the MD/BDM in identifying and securing new business opportunities in existing and new regions;
3. Draft and negotiate Joint Venture and similar agreements between KCPC and third parties.
