Business Development Manager

Business development manager has the challenging task of identifying business opportunities for Company and managing key client relationships. As a key manager, he will be responsible for initiating negotiations and new strategies to improve market position and achieve financial growth in coordination with the board.
Business development
1. Create and manage an annual business development plan
2. Develop and deliver the strategy for company’s new business
3. Track all business development activities, analyze progress and suggest new strategies based on findings
4. Recognizes opportunities to penetrate new markets and increase company’s market share
5. Create, negotiate and close commercial agreements
6. Innovate and offer new ideas and approaches for developing client, building relationships with other prospective business partners
7. Evaluate opportunities for innovation & help drive early stage program development
8. Markets new and existing customers through creation, development, and implementation of various intelligent business solutions and by using CRM
9. Manages relationships with various prospects, clients, and partners in regards of PR & marketing
10. Estimates demand for proposed projects based upon market research and consumer trends.
11. Running a SWOT analysis periodically
12. Create a feasibility study for each proposed project, plan, and opportunity.
13. Prepare complete market studies
14. Set-up operation platform in new developed markets
15. Present concepts and negotiate for locations with mall management in Kuwait and abroad
16. Creating company profiles (along with marketing) for the different brands
17. Following up and liaising with different departments in order to ensure smooth construction and opening of the store (including negotiating with mall management, coordinating between architects and project manager, coordinating with sales team and brand manager for the brand(s) being proposed)
18. Knowing all of the upcoming retail projects in the region
SUPERVISION REQUIRED/GIVEN:
1. Receives general supervision from GM/Managing partner
2. Exercises functional and technical supervision over subordinates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Support the Marketing & sales Manager to implement visual directives across all boutiques and showrooms.
2. Create visually exciting installations & seasonal schemes in-line with buying/Marketing direction.

Contribute

basis to ensure quality control and compliance with contract documents and
approved material and shop drawings
- Ensure that non-compliance to the CCS is communicated to the Resident

electric systems; ensure that any changes are updated in the specifications of
electrical components/materials etc.

contractors prior to handing over the development to the owner/client.

- Counsel the clients on achieving and maintaining the proper level of body mass, body fat and muscle mass that is consistent with good health.
- Provide personalized meal and snack plans to promote achieving short and long term goals of good health.

-  Conduct supervision responsibilities in adherence to guidelines as indicated in the PACE Supervision Manual; ensure that
supervision guidelines are being adhered to by site HVAC engineers at all times
- Review and assess sub contractors’
pre-qualifications and inspect their shop/ factory as and when required
- Assist the Resident Engineer in the selection and
approval of sub-contractors for HVAC systems in coordination with the owner’s/client’s representative
- Assist in resolving any issues raised by
contractors (e.g. requirements for time extensions, change order requests,
variations etc.); inform the Resident Engineer of any discrepancies identified
against contract documents and make recommendations to the Resident Engineer as
appropriate
- Review and approve the material data submitted by contractors/suppliers for equipment and materials to be used in the project
- Review and approve shop drawings, builders work drawings, sketches and composite drawings of services submitted by contractors and give comments and instructions as required
- Study the Contractor’s Construction Schedule (CCS) thoroughly (e.g. shop drawing submittal log, procurement schedule, and material
submittal log etc.) prior to its approval by the Resident Engineer
- Check all sample HVAC components and materials submitted by contractors; ensure compliance against ministerial requirements
and technical specifications
- Inspect all procured HVAC components and materials to ensure compliance against ministerial requirements and specifications.
 -  Supervise the installations of HVAC systems on a daily/regular basis to ensure progress against the contractor’s CCS
-  Ensure that non-compliance to the CCS is
communicated to the Resident Engineer on a timely basis in order to avoid any
delays in construction
-  Assist in maintaining on site quality control (e.g.
through ensuring thorough testing of materials and verifying of materials,
adequate storage of materials and protection of installed systems etc.)
- Contribute to managing the health and safety of all on-site personnel; report any observed safety violations to the Resident
Engineer and/or Safety Inspector (if available)
-  Attend meetings (e.g. progress meetings,
coordination and specially called meetings etc.) as and when required
- Assist Sr. Quantity Surveyors in preparing progress reports and in verifying costs related to HVAC system installations in order to
finalize monthly payment certificates
- Lead snagging procedure to check HVAC systems after substantial completion of construction activities have ended; ensure that a
snag list is prepared based on outstanding works and submit to the Resident
Engineer for approval
- Ensure that the contractors submittals to local
ministries are carried out in a timely manner as specified in contract documents
- Review WHEN REQUIRED all as-built drawings provided by contractors prior to their submittal to local ministries for approval
- Review all operation, instruction and maintenance
manuals provided by contractors prior to handing over the development to the
owner/client
-  Coordinate WHEN REQUIRED with the contractor to arrange training of the
owner’s/client’s technical staff on the operation and maintenance of all
electrical systems installed
- Coordinate with HVAC engineers from the design
department in order to respond to RFIs issued by contractors
- Follow the progress and quality of installations on site

JOB SUMMARY: To ensure the effective and efficient management of the Security and provide a safe and secure environment. The Security Manager will manage the delivery of security services provided by the nominated Security contractor to the agreed standards as detailed in the Key Performance Indicators.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the Operations Manager to set security policy and plan security management systems.
• Coordinate with external security agencies, planning agencies, to address security preparedness; including participation in formal meetings and committees.
