This job vacancy is for one of GIC Clients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and refinement of the company's strategic & Business plans from financial perspective including setting the financial goals.
- In conjunction with the CEO, lead the development of financial strategies in line with the overall strategy of the company, in order to maintain the well-being of the company.
- Monitoring and managing the company financial ratios as per the board vision including regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the company's overall budget formulation, implementation, and compliance including forecasting studies.
- Act as an advisor to the CEO and the Board in managing the company financial position & performance, including for example the corporate finance, and the corporate capital strategy.
- Based on the request of the BOD or the CEO, the CFO will be attending BOD meetings and any other strategic meetings to facilitate decision making process through covering the financial aspects of such decision.
- Act as a spokesperson and represent the company in matters related to financial management and performance.
- Work closely with the CEO and the Board of Directors to enhance decision making process, through reviewing and studying the effect of such decisions on the financials of the company or its financial ratios.
- Ensuring the regular and effective communication with the business functions, to maintain consistent and timely pattern of financial reporting.
- Oversee and guide treasury related processes with the company, through building and managing strategic business relationships with the banks and developing funding, liquidity, and investment plans.
- Monitoring the subsidiaries financial positions and performance to manage the overall effect on the group financials.
- Reviewing the financial reporting standards and analysing the effect of any changing in the adopted standards if any.
- Review, assess, and monitor the KPIs and matrices of the business functions, and provide the required guidance to enhance performance when required.
- Meeting with the controls functions (internal audit, external auditor, Risk Management and Compliance) to highlight and discuss any control environment issue with financial effect.
- Oversee the development and implementation of business plans, and policies & procedures of the Corporate Services Functions.
- Review the periodic reporting pack from the Corporate Services functions, and provide a summary brief to the CEO about the key information and decisions.
- Oversee the talent acquisition activities and implementation of attractive compensation and benefits structure for the company.
- Oversee manpower planning, employee turnover and success planning.
- Oversee transparent, effective, and efficient procurement and administration services to all sectors.
