Job Purpose
• Sales & marketing support for product lines assigned.
• Promote and Increase the product awareness, proper handling and best use of products.
• Training and support respective products lines in MOH & Government and Private sector
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with our customers to promote respective products, and organize marketing campaigns as and when needed.
2. Maintain and develop market expert knowledge in terms of qualitative (such as # labs, #tests, AUSP) and qualitative data (customer needs, local healthcare strategy, competition, technologies and applications)
3. Build, monitor and analyze market share data by key business segments for the clinical market.
4. Organize and co-ordinate product launch activities align them with local market dynamics, develop the Feature and Benefit scenario and produce local sales presentations.
5. Co-develop with the Division Head and General Manager the short and mid-term sales and marketing plans for Kuwait.
6. Develop the local differentiation strategy with emphasis on service and profit for the respective key business centers and translate them into tactical plans for the sales team.
7. Maintain and build solid business relationship with strategic key opinion leaders in the clinical laboratory market.
8. Lead local marketing communication activities (. workshops, mailings etc.) and develop promotional plans to support the country tactical business plan.
9. Accountable for the monthly forecasting and the annual budget processes, their development, the monitoring and the deviation reporting.
10. Track monthly sales and price evolutions by key business centers.
11. Co-responsible with the Division Head and General Manager to set and achieve net sales targets for the products business.
12. Visiting potential customers to demonstrate products and gain new markets.
13. Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets.
14. Contacting clients by phone to negotiate terms of an agreement and conclude sales.
15. Gathering market and customer information.
16. Staffing trade exhibitions and demonstrations.
17. Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with Division Head and General Manager.
18. Train and support the Kuwait customer base of the business.
19. Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions.
20. Reviewing own sales performance.
21. Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements.
