Human resources (HR) officer, with clear understanding of PAD10 objectives, must handle the following:
STAFFING & RECRUITMENT
Develop job descriptions, post them on suitable platforms, check application forms, shortlist for interviews, prepare questionnaires with specialized managers, negotiate salaries, and select candidates.
Conduct interviews with new candidates and orientation sessions for new staff.
Develop with planning and other managers strategies which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements.
Coordinate with planning department to ensure suitable candidates availability when and where required.
Continuous recruitment for candidates with proper skills to maintain and grow the practice using different outlets (newspapers, internet, head hunters, etc).
Participate and represent the company at recruitment events.
MAINTAIN & DEVELOP OFFICE POLICIES
Work closely with different departments, assisting managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.
Ensure that all policies, with international standards, are implemented, especially those relating to promoting equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organization and health and safety.
Develop and implement policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management.
Prepare and update periodically staff handbooks.
Interpret and advise on employment law.
Dealing with grievances and implement disciplinary procedures.
Continuous updating of employees manual and office policies.
PAYROLL & ASSESSMENT
Administer payroll and maintain employee records.
Advise on pay and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits.
Undertake regular salary reviews.
Develop performance reports, based on data extracted from planning and accounting departments.
Setup and orient staff with clear job description and KPI’s.
Enforce office policies and translate with clear set of actions.
Set salary scales and abide by preset budgets.
STAFF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT & SOCIAL HARMONY
Analyze training needs in conjunction with departmental managers.
Scout for local and international exhibitions, training and development opportunities for employees development.
Develop a calendar of events and activities to ensure a continuous dialogue among the team with periodical get-together events.
Ensure to meet different parties in case of conflict and resolve immediately and amicably
