My job is:
To plan and manage the recruitment activities that includes developing and determining resources, ensuring proper implementation of recruitment process; screening, interviewing, selection and deployment.
In my job I am accountable for:
• Achieving staffing objectives by organizing and managing the recruitment process - screening applicants, interviewing, testing and selection activities - as well as arranging for recruiting events and promotions to attract the desired caliber of candidates
• Developing, defining and consolidating recruitment requirements into the manpower budget and plan
• Developing and determining sources - local and international - for recruitment to meet the business needs
• Ensuring effective implementation of the established manpower planning policies, procedures and practices with respect to country requirements
• Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
• Participating in the assessment of outstanding vacancies for each function and recommending appropriate action
• Manages new employee relocation by determining new employee requirements; negotiating with movers; arranging temporary housing; providing community introductions.
• Reviewing the Country manpower forecast with each function ensuring accuracy and consistency of information provided
• Participating in the country committee for Business Development to determine and provide relevant services to fulfill the recruitment needs
• Reviewing, refining, recommending and adapting relevant policies and procedures to meet the needs of the Country
• Compiling and processing Country recruitment periodic reports in accordance with corporate recruitment guidelines and ensuring timely submission to the corporate recruitment manager
• Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
