Strategic & Marketing Planning
* Formulates the annual business plan & budget (including short, medium, & longer-term objectives) in line with corporate objectives
*Develops marketing plans for all products and negotiates plans with suppliers in order to meet the local market requirements and ensure the achievement of budgeted sales & profits targets.
*Visits regularly all trade channels, investigates the quality of service.
Monitor Performance
*Reviews performance reports to ensure timely and necessary action is taken to correct negative performance variations and ensure budgeted profit achievement
*Closely evaluates the efficiency of advertising & promotional activities versus sales achievements
*Ensures that gross profit margins for the division to be inline as set in budget and operating expenses are maintained within budgeted limits.
*Continually reviews sales, GP margin and A&P developments with brand & sales management to ensure achievement of planned performance.
Trade & Brand Relation
*Maintains good relations with key customers and supports sales management with all necessary negotiations.
* Visits key customers on a regular basis.
*Maintains a professional and cordial relationship with all suppliers and ensures open & constructive communication particularly in terms of setting and achieving sales and marketing objectives.
Operational Risk Management
*Identify risks (processes, people and systems)
*Assess & estimate risk and potential impact
*Makes sure that controls are in place to mitigate the risk
*Periodical, evaluates the controls in place and decides on the remedial actions
Change Management
*Plan Change & involve the appropriate personnel
*Build a responsive culture and minimize change barriers
*Communicate Change Requirements
Business Development
*Build Local & International Network to achieve the company plans
*Identify new business opportunities and new ways of conducting current business
*Initiate action plan to develop a new markets & programs
*Analyze data and prepare reports regarding the effectiveness of the current selling process & recommend corrections if any
*Attend trade shows, exhibitions & conferences to generate opportunities
*Evaluate the financial aspects of product development
People Management
*Manage employee relation for better team-working & innovative culture
*Recruit, train, coach and motivate the employees for his area in coordination with HR
*Agree clear performance objectives for the team members
*Agree and implement development and training plans
*Solves issues related to people management
*Communicate job roles & responsibilities to the team members
*Evaluate employees performance and take corrective actions
