A-Job Purpose:
To act as the primary HR interface within the Business / Support Groups aligning human resource efforts with business objectives to ensure increased profitability, productivity and employee engagement.
5. Accountabilities:
a)HR support: Advise the Group/Function on all HR issues to ensure that all employees are managed in the Bank’s processes and educate line managers in the use of effective people management techniques.
b)Recruitment: Identify recruitment needs and oversee the recruitment process to ensure candidates of the best caliber are sourced and on-boarded
c)Learning and Development: Assess L&D requirements and ensure these are translated into effective L&D programs so the Group/Function has people with the right skills and experience to meet its objectives
d)Succession Planning: Develop and manage a succession pipeline and oversee succession planning and backups implementation
e)Reward Management: Execute the Bank’s job analysis, grading and salary management processes to ensure fair and reasonable outcomes in line with budget and wider standards
f)Employee Relations: Manage grievances, exits and disciplinary actions to ensure appropriate outcomes in line with policy.
g)Organizational design: Advise on the structure of the Group/Function to ensure that the structure and roles are fit for purpose and improve performance
h)Policies and procedures: Advise on and interpret HR policy and procedures to ensure these are understood and complied with by all levels of employee
i)Reporting: Identify HR issues within the Group/Function and ensure these are communicated to HR colleagues.
j)Counseling: Advise and counsel members of staff on a confidential basis to ensure issues are clarified and resolved
k)Kuwaitization: Plan and take actions to recruit/exit employees to ensure the Bank achieves Kuwaitization targets
